This documentary story follows Irina, a Safe Passage student and single mother of five, as she navigates life within the Guatemala City garbage dump. I did the sound design and mix. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1547890/ |

Another RED ONE feature, this time a Western shot in several parts of Texas. Finally got to try my cyborg booming viewer idea.

The Guest Room and American Salesman audio post complete |
Just turned in both of these short films, more to come on when/where they can be viewed. Each of these was VERY different in requirements. The Guest Room was not dialog heavy and had lots of scenery and a bit of VO as well. The dialog scenes were in challenging environments and required some effort to create consistency. We only ended ADR'ing a couple of lines. American Salesman was ALL talking in a very high-ceiling'd large house. Luckily I was able to get a 50 in close for most of it and it sounds very good, though the dialog edit was occasionally trying to some editorial decisions. Also, placing things to be comedic made it very different from the flick above. |
